My name is Kimberley, I am 22 years old and I am an artist based in Warrington, England. I specialize in hand drawn portraits using graphite and coloured pencils. I have always loved drawing ever since I was a young child, always doodling and drawing or painting something. I took Art and Design in GCSE level and in College and learned that I preferred Fine Art. I started drawing portraits of celebrities and band members from a young age and knew that I wanted to be an artist one day. I kept drawing for fun in my spare time whilst working a full time job before I decided to start drawing professionally in 2019. I started by selling original portraits and prints of football players and now I take personal commission requests alongside selling prints. The materials I use for all my drawings are Caran D'ache Graphite Line Grafwood graphite pencils or Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils and Strathmore Bristol Board on either Vellum or Smooth surface. As an artist I always learn something new everyday especially new techniques and ways to improve each drawing every time, this means I constantly try to upskill myself as there is always room to improve. Each drawing takes me around 3 days to complete on average and requires a lot of patience and concentration also an eye for detail which I believe I have, I find art very therapeutic and relaxing which is why I enjoy it so much. I use social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram etc. to promote my artwork and over the past year or two I have gained over 23,000 followers from all around the world and recognition from footballers Diogo Jota and Alisson Becker for my drawings.
